I always struggle at school and did not get the best grades. My senior year I did a last ditch effort to pass and left my geometry homework on my teacher’s desk. She couldn’t find it so she failed me and I had to take summer school to graduate high school. I passed with a D but, regardless I passed and had my high school diploma. At the moment I wanted to do criminal justice with the goal of working in the FBI or being some special agent. At the time Homeland Security Department was coming up and they started adding classes for it. I took some classes in the local community but, wasn’t feeling it towards the end. I wanted to continue to try it because I wanted to become a lawyer later on and this would be a great foundation. But, one thing I kept struggling with? writing papers. I despise writing papers and most of the classes was writing papers after papers. Specially that I have to think everything in spanish then translate it to english in my mind so sometimes it would sound like I though in spanish but, wrote in english.
As I wrote in my other articles that I love playing video games in consoles and computer. At some point during that time my uncle that lived in FL moved in with us in MD. At that point I was really trying to figure out what I wanted to study. I thought of doing surgery assistant like my mother did in the Army Reserves. I went back and forth trying to decide although I was mostly taking generic classes. My uncle once he moved in he bought computer books such as A+ and dummies. I had some idea about hardware and software since I played a lot of pc games like Diablo and star wars games. I kidnapped those books momentary and it felt like Johny five INPUTTT!!! GIVE ME MORE INPUT. This were the rare cases that I literary finished a book. I actually finished books without getting bored and my brain stimulated.
During this period I was working retail, fast food and just any job out there I could do. I started googling and went into rabbit holes about hardware and software. Was thinking of building a computer for gaming, specially since I was using a laptop to raid in World of Warcraft( Was using Vista 0.o). At the time COD was getting popular and I tried to install it but, it wouldn’t even install due to not having a gaming GPU AT ALL! I bought parts from ebay, places like geeks.com and circuit city. I got enough parts to make it work but, nothing fancy. I used those plastic cleared cases and fans with lights. Everything worked, connected my new desktop to my CTR and continued to play WOW.
